A Cephalotus that comes from Queen Mary University in East London and has been in the collection since 2001. Yoong Lim had once looked after the greenhouse on the roof of a university building, where various plants were grown for experimental purposes, most of which were probably from old research conducted by former professors, including this dwarf jug.
Cephalotus follicularis Queen Mary can become very dark and is especially distinguished by its purple hue. The jugs are about 4.5 cm high. This historical plant should be present in all Cephalotus enthusiasts.
