Vendor FAQ

On this page, you will find the questions frequently asked by sellers:

1. Why can’t I submit plants for sale?

The deposit of new plants for sale is subject to the creation and proper connection of your Stripe account.

You will find the detailed procedure for creating an account with our payment partner on this page: Stripe account.

This obligation on the part of the seller may seem restrictive, but it allows us to guarantee to everyone, and in particular to buyers, that the sellers present on this site are indeed who they say they are and that they have an official bank account. This guarantees the totality of the financial flows.

To log in to your Stripe account on our site, go to “Seller’s Area” > Settings > Payments and click on the login button.

Once this step is completed, you will be able to deposit your plants or seeds for sale.

If you have followed all these steps and you are still unable to deposit plants, contact us.

2. How does an order go to the “Completed” state?

In order for an order in progress to be “Finished”, therefore considered finished from the point of view of the seller, the customer and the site, there are two possibilities:

  • That the customer marks his order as received in his sales order management interface. He is then invited to leave a review of each plant purchased. The system then automatically sets the order to “Completed”.
  • That a period of 30 days has passed since the order was shipped by the seller (This is based on the time the seller declared the order shipped and the tracking link if it exists). The change to “Completed” is then made via the site administration. This closure leads to an email being sent to the buyer suggesting that he/she leave a review of his/her order as in the first case.
3. How can I prevent orders in my store for a limited time?

There are two complementary options to achieve this result: Vacation mode and command blocking.

To access these settings: Seller’s Area > Settings > Shop

The first parameter is located in the middle of the page: “Activate vacation mode”. This box, once checked, opens a text box whose content will be displayed on each page of your store. /!\ Be careful, this parameter alone is not enough to block the orders /!\

To prevent visitors from adding your products to their carts, use the setting just below “Disable add to cart for my products”. From now on, no one will be able to buy plants from you until this option has been unchecked.

4. What are my advantages as a vendor?
