In addition to the General Conditions of Use that you have accepted by registering, we present the essential rules of the sale on our site.
Growers browsing our site appreciate knowing who the vendors are. By explaining your experience with carnivorous plants and giving your growing preferences in your store’s definition, you allow them to better appreciate your approach as a salesperson.
You must log in to your Stripe account if you want to sell your plants on our site. To do this, go to your Seller Area, then Settings, then click Payments and finally “Connect to Stripe”.

In order for growers to clearly understand what you are selling, you must be as specific as possible in your description. The name should clearly and precisely define the species you are proposing. Categories must be selected otherwise your plant will be listed in the default category.
For each product, it is possible to define if it is in stock or not, and how many plants you have available for sale.
This parameter is important, because on a plant that is not in stock, the customer is offered to leave his email address to be notified when it is available for sale again. This allows to know if this plant is wanted.
In the definition of a plant for sale, there is a tab called Attributes. Using this feature, you can specify some characteristics such as the age of the plant (from the cutting or the seeds), the difficulty of cultivation…
This information allows an efficient search for growers looking for plants with specific characteristics.
All visitors can use the “Plant Search ” form to inform us of the varieties they are interested in. All this information is available to all sellers (and only sellers) on the “Plants Wanted” page.
Our approach is only for individuals. Beyond 150 euros per month of sales, your account will be blocked until the following month.
Including shipping costs in the product price and offering shipping to your country is a good habit to get into.
You can define several delivery types, so make sure that the one you use for sending an order corresponds to the one chosen by the buyer.
It is important for the buyer but also for the whole community that you take care of the shipping of your plants. It is also a way to share good practices even in this field. If necessary, ask the community for the best advice.
We are here between enthusiasts, but we can’t exclude that someone else uses your pictures for his own benefit on the Internet. To avoid these inconveniences, we advise you to use two possible methods: Either use a label with the name of your store, which you will place on each photo, or use a software that adds this text on your photos afterwards.
