Exhibition of my Stylidum debile :
My Stylidium debile are acclimatized in the south-west of France, grown outdoors all year round and endure temperatures down to -6 ° C, full sun or part shade.
Substrate:
A mixture of 2/3 sphagnum peat moss and 1/3 perlite/sand (non calcareous) in a large pot.
Growing Conditions:
Ideally up to 40°C in summer and from 5 to 15°C in winter. The plant can survive short frosts.
The plants for sale grow continuously outdoors and are used to short frosts of -6/-8 °C in the southwest of France sheltered from the wind.
Watering :
Use only rainwater, demineralized or osmosed water. Water that is too hard will cause the plant to wither in a few weeks.
Do not use bottled water, it usually contains too many mineral salts, which are harmful to the plant.
In summer, place the plant in a large saucer with water.
In winter, keep the substrate moist.
