Description
Sarracenia x moorei — ‘Leviathan’ is a spectacular hybrid, renowned for its exceptional size and vigor. This plant can produce urns well over a meter in height, with specimens observed up to over 120 cm, making it one of the most imposing pitcher plants in most collections.
Resulting from a cross between Sarracenia leucophylla and Sarracenia flava var. maximaLeviathan’ is distinguished by its light-green urns, red veins in the throat and white eye-spots. The sulfur-yellow flowers recall the influence of S. flava var. maxima.
