Description
The name of this plant is somewhat abusive, the majority of the flowers they produce being normal. On the other hand, it is a very pretty S. alata with beautiful fall colors, fine, relatively small traps that do not lie down easily (unlike many S. alata), even after a storm! The name of this plant is a bit inappropriate, because most of its flowers are regular. However, this is a very nice S. alata, with beautiful autumnal colours. Its pitchers are thin, relatively short, and do not tend to bend as often the case with this species, even after a storm!
