Description
Nepenthes Hookeriana is a superb natural hybrid between Nepenthes rafflesiana and Nepenthes ampullaria. Easy to grow, it produces beautiful, colorful and robust urns.
Growing conditions
- 🌡️ Temperature: 20-30°C during the day, minimum 18°C at night
- 💦 Humidity: 60-80%.
- 🌞 Light: Indirect bright light or filtered sunlight
- 🪴 Substrate: Mixture of sphagnum moss, perlite and bark
- 🚿 Watering: Rainwater or osmosis water, substrate always moist but not soggy.
- 🧪 Fertilizer: spray every 1-2 weeks (at 100-120 ppm) from spring to autumn. Fill urns with solution.
Maintenance
- 💧 Regular watering Maintain humidity without drowning roots
- 🌫️ Fogging Useful if the air is too dry
- 🔄 Repotting Every 2-3 years in a fresh substrate
