A small hemp palm tree!
“trachycarpus fortunei”
It is the rustic palm par excellence, it resists to continental temperatures. Very decorative with its large toothed leaves and fibrous trunk it gives a tropical touch to gardens or balconies.

- These specimens measure between 15cm and 40cm approximately,
- It will do particularly well in the sun, in a rich and well drained soil
- In a pot, don’t forget to add a base of gravel or sand so that the roots are not in prolonged contact with water
- As for watering: a little in summer, and nothing in winter!
Bare roots means the plant is uprooted properly. Upon receipt, it is ready to be planted in a container or in the ground, it’s up to you. Don’t leave the roots exposed to light, they don’t like it! The ideal before planting is to pralinate the roots. This consists of soaking them in a muddy mixture, then planting.
