Drosera prolifera
Magnificent Drosera with heart-shaped leaves.

1 adult plant with 2 offshoots (equivalent to 3 plants!)
bare roots in damp sphagnum moss

Exposure: Full sun .
Substrate: 3/4 white peat + 1/4 perlite (or Loire/Quartz sand) or 100% Sphagnum.
Growing conditions : Grown indoors, very high humidity, bright light.
D. prolifera, like its cousins D. schizandra and D. adelae, comes from the tropical rainforests of North Queensland in Australia.
Watering :
Use only rainwater, demineralized or osmosed water.
Never allow the substrate to dry out.
Water that is too hard will cause the plant to wither in a few weeks.
Do not use bottled water, it usually contains too many mineral salts, which are harmful to the plant.
