Description
Drosera prolifera is native to the rainforests of Queensland, Australia. It is distinguished by its rounded leaves covered with tiny reddish tentacles, which secrete a sticky mucus to capture and digest insects. Unlike other Drosera, it develops a creeping habit and easily produces new shoots, rapidly forming a luxuriant colony.
Easy to grow in a terrarium or greenhouse, it appreciates a humid atmosphere, a peaty substrate and subdued light.
