Range: South Africa to the north of Mozambique and Madagascar
Known as Natal Drosera, this plant is native to South and East Africa and is one of the few Drosera species found in Madagascar.
Culture: can be grown in a variety of soil mixes, but often does best in a sand-rich peat mix, kept moist to damp (but preferably well aerated) and moderately humid, with temperatures from 55 to 85° F, year-round; plants can die back to the roots if exposed to frost. Sow seeds on the surface of the soil and cultivate.
Lifespan and reproduction: perennial. Reproduces by seed and can be grown by leaf and root cuttings and division.
