Description
Natural hybrid of Capillaris and Intermedia.
Perennial plant of 10 cm of diameter.
Resistant to temperatures up to -15°c, it forms a hibernation in winter, lives several years and is grown in full sun.
Condition of culture of Drosera Capillaris x Intermedia:
Substrate: I advise a substrate of peat + sand 70/30
Watering: Always in water during growth
Brightness: The maximum possible to have a beautiful plant.
Ideal pot size: Not important
Growing season: from March to November.
Dormant period: November to March (during this period limit the watering to a just wet substrate).
The plant loses all its traps and keeps all its energy in a kind of small bulb called hibernacle.
Ideal temperatures: In the growing season 20-30 degrees, make sure not to exceed 40 degrees.
In the dormant period 0-10 degrees, make sure not to go below -5 degrees.
