Description
Almost perfect ground cover for your bog. You’ll have to be a little careful about its proliferation when you do your annual maintenance, but as the roots are shallow, it can be removed easily and without causing any damage, provided you go about it with a minimum of delicacy.
Birds don’t like the fruit (at least not where I live). Raw, they have no taste. On the other hand, once harvested in late winter, they can be used to make a coulis to accompany red meat, for example. Don’t be in a hurry to harvest them: they’ll decorate your bog all winter long!
