You will receive a plant cut from my mother plant.
For your information, my mother plant has been outdoors since 2006 and has withstood many winters.
at -10°C/-12°C. In cold winters, it loses all its traps, which grow back in spring.
CAUTION Cephalotus follicularis is considered to be a plant that cannot tolerate
not cold, in such growing conditions a large pot is imperative.
Delivery : Mondial Relay , cardboard box, plant sent whole without urns cut !
Availability: 1 plant available
Family: Cephalotaceae
Genus: Cephalotus
Species: follicularis
Exposure: Full sun .
Substrate: Sphagnum peat moss or Sphagnum peat moss (60/70) + perlite (30/40) .
Growing conditions Grow outdoors.
Temperatures: 5°C to 40°C, considered fragile to cold.
The bigger the pot, the more the plant will flourish!
A pot measuring 20cmx20cmx22cm or more is ideal!
Watering :
Use only rainwater, demineralized or osmosis water.
The substrate must be soaked throughout the growth period.
(spring, summer, autumn), and must remain moist in winter.
Never allow the substrate to dry out.
Water that is too hard/mineral will cause the plant to wither within a few weeks.
Don’t use bottled water, which generally contains too many mineral salts,
harmful to the plant.
