Description
Carnivorous plant Pinguicula gracilis (Mexican pinguicula)
Pinguicula gracilis is a small carnivorous plant that captures small midges. It’s easy to grow, as long as you observe a few rules: grow behind a bright window, under LEDs or in a frost-free cold greenhouse, with a moist substrate in summer (1 cm in the saucer) and dry substrate in winter (December to May).
Highly draining mineral substrate for Mexican pinguicula: 15% peat + mix of pozzolan, sand, perlite, vermiculite, natural clay…
I send a bare-root plant of about 2 cm. You’ll need a pot with substrate to repot it on arrival.
