Description
The basic material, used in large proportions for the cultivation of most carnivorous plants, is white peat. Blonde peat is produced by the fossilization of various plant debris in peaty environments (bogs). It is mainly the sphagnum moss that decomposes and thus forms the sphagnum peat moss.
