Azolla Caroliniana

This aquatic fern floats on the surface of the water. It is very practical in our carnivorous planters to limit water evaporation!
They also feed on nitrates in the water, which is favorable for carnivorous plants.
Full sun or half shade exposure. (the more they are in the sun, the more red they will be)
Simply place the azolla in water and they will grow on their own.
They do not tolerate frost. I have some in mini greenhouses that stay alive in the winter, but it never freezes in the mini greenhouses.
It is also possible to put them in our terrariums or indoor installations!
