Nepenthes
The genus Nepenthes groups species of carnivorous plants with passive traps in the family Nepenthaceae. These are plants from humid tropical climates that supplement their nutrient intake by trapping insects in urn-like devices filled with a liquid in which they drown. A hundred species have already been identified.
