Drosera

Drosera (from ancient Greek δροσερός, droseros, covered with dew, δρόσος, drosos meaning dew), or sundew (from Latin ros solis, the dew of the sun) are small insectivorous plants of the Droserae family, belonging to the genus Drosera.

In 2008, no less than 188 species of drosera were counted, located mainly in the Southern Hemisphere. Half of these species are found in southwestern Australia.
