Description
Carnivorous plant Pinguicula x ‘Seductora’ (Mexican pinguicula)
Pinguicula x ‘Seductora’ is a hybrid (P. laueana x P. emarginata) which flowers almost all the time. A plant that’s easy to grow, provided you observe a few rules: grow behind a bright window, under an LED light, or in a frost-free, cold greenhouse; substrate moist in summer (1 cm in the saucer) and dry in winter (December to May).
Highly draining mineral substrate for Mexican pinguicula: 20% peat + pozzolan, sand, perlite, vermiculite…
I send a good-sized plant (~3 cm diameter) with bare roots. You’ll need a pot with substrate to repot it on arrival.
