Description
A Sarracenia from a cross and personal seedlings, a pretty red veined hybrid, this is a robust plant that’s sure to be colorful all season long. Eventually, the veins disappear completely, giving way to uniformly red urns. One of the first features that led me to select this plant was the shape of its drooping operculum, visible in the last photos. This characteristic has largely faded and this plant is still kept for observation in the collection, to be confirmed or not. -SXP04b S. x (S. x moorei — “Luben’s Red” x S. flava var. ornata — Gulf Coast.
